Shipping Policy: How we get your order to you

Thank you for shopping with BJ's Bakery. Because our products are fresh, frozen food items, we take extra care to ensure they arrive in perfect condition. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.

Section 01: Delivery Areas

We deliver to urban addresses on the North Island and South Island of New Zealand only.

  • ✓ We deliver to: North & South Island urban addresses, workplace addresses.

  • ✕ We do not deliver to: Rural delivery addresses (RD), PO Boxes, Waiheke & Great Barrier Island, Stewart Island, or other offshore islands.

If your address falls outside our delivery area, you will not be able to complete checkout.


Section 02: Rural Addresses

We cannot guarantee delivery to rural addresses due to the perishable nature of our products. If a rural address is entered, we will contact you to discuss an alternative arrangement (such as a workplace address). If no alternative is found, the order may be cancelled.


Section 03: Dispatch Schedule

Orders placed before 10:00 am Monday to Thursday are dispatched the same day for overnight delivery.

💡 Tip: We strongly recommend ordering Monday to Wednesday. Thursday dispatches arrive Friday; if the delivery is missed, there is no re-delivery option before the weekend, which may compromise frozen goods.


Section 04: Packaging and Temperature

All orders are packed in insulated cartons designed for overnight transit. While we take every precaution, BJ's Bakery is not liable for damage or spoilage resulting from courier delays, extreme weather, or mishandling after the package has been collected by the carrier.


Section 05: Delivery and Signature

Deliveries do not require a signature. By placing an order, you accept that your parcel may be left unattended. BJ's Bakery accepts no liability for loss or theft of parcels once delivered.


Section 06: Missed or Failed Delivery

Because our products are perishable, it is vital that someone is available to receive the delivery.

  • Missed deliveries can lead to product thawing and spoilage.

  • BJ's Bakery is not liable for quality deterioration due to missed delivery attempts.

  • Any re-delivery costs are the responsibility of the customer.


Section 07: Incorrect Delivery Address

Please check your address carefully. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address provided at checkout. If you notice an error, call us immediately at 06 878 8397.
